We have a few names we go by, like Japs Project or Japs Engineers and Japs Lifting Eqp, but it’s all the same group of us here. Our shop is at 565 Phase II in the GIDC Estate, right across from the Vatva railway crossing. If you’re stuck waiting for a train at the crossing, you can probably see our place. Being in Vatva GIDC is pretty convenient for an engineering and lifting equipment business. There are shops and factories all around us. We spend a lot of time on projects involving heavy lifting and mechanical stuff. It’s a dusty, noisy environment sometimes, but we like it. It’s where things get built. We don’t have a lot of polished brochures or a fancy sales team. We just have our tools and our experience. The guys here have been doing this a long time. We know the ins and outs of the lifting equipment we handle. Sometimes the work is complicated, but we just take it one step at a time. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of business. We’ve been at this Vatva location for a good while and people know where to find us. Whether it’s under the Japs Project name or the others, it’s just us working out of Phase II. It's a straightforward setup for straightforward work. We just keep our heads down and handle the projects as they come in.
