You can find us over at Paldi, right there at Narnarayan Palace. It’s a busy spot between Ellisbridge and the road heading toward VS Hospital. Being right across from the Bharat Petrol Pump means there’s always cars and bikes zooming past. We’ve been serving parothas here for a long time. It’s not a fancy dining room. We have simple tables and the smell of the tawa is always in the air. People from Dena Bank come over for their lunch breaks, and we see a lot of folks who are visiting people at the hospital too. Making a good parotha takes a bit of patience. We roll them out one by one. Sometimes the place gets really crowded and people have to wait a bit, but nobody seems to mind too much. We aren't trying to win any awards. We just want to make sure the food is hot and tastes like it should. The traffic outside can be a bit much during rush hour, but inside we just focus on the cooking. We get our supplies from the local markets and start early every morning. It’s a lot of work standing over the heat all day, but it’s what we do. Our address is easy to find if you know the Paldi area at all. We just keep our heads down, keep the kitchen clean, and serve whoever walks in through the door. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop.
