Jalaram Ice Cream & Travel

Started out in Bapunagar a good while back. If you head over to Manhar Nagar Shopping, right across from Khodiyarnagar, you’ll find us. It’s a bit of a funny mix, I guess. We do ice cream but we also handle travel bookings. It just happened that way over the years. Some days I’m handing out cones to kids after school and the next minute I’m looking up bus routes or train timings for someone heading out of town. The shop isn’t huge but we make it work. It gets pretty hot around here in the summer, so the ice cream side of things stays moving. People stop by on their way home. We aren't trying to be some big corporate agency or a fancy dessert lounge. It’s just me and the staff keeping things running. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. Sometimes the printer for the tickets acts up or the freezer makes a weird noise, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. You can usually find us sitting here from morning until fairly late. It’s a busy corner of Ahmedabad. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the shutters, clean the counters, and wait for the day to start. If you need a cool treat or a way to get to the next city, we’re right here in the neighborhood.
