Industrial Electrical Corporation

Industrial Electrical Corporation is tucked away in Phase IV of Vatva Gidc, right behind that Maruti weigh bridge. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of dust and heavy machinery everywhere you look. Our plot, No 602, is where we do all our assembly and electrical work. It’s a solid brick building that’s seen better days, but it does the job just fine. Inside, we have rows of benches where the wiring and the testing happen. It gets pretty loud during the peak hours of the afternoon when everyone is busy. We aren't really the type to talk ourselves up or use big words to describe what we do. It’s just electrical work, plain and simple. We deal with various industrial parts and systems that other businesses in the GIDC need to keep their own factories running. The guys on the floor know their stuff, and they don’t need much supervision to get through the daily list. We have a small kettle in the corner for tea, which is probably the most used piece of equipment we own. Sometimes the power fluctuates in this sector, which is ironic for an electrical company, but we have our own setups to handle that. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a honest living and we’ve been at this spot for quite a while now without making much of a fuss.
