If you walk down Gandhi Road and turn into Patasa Pole, you will find us on the third floor of the building at 237 Kharakuwa Pole. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but that is where we have our office. This part of Ahmedabad is very old and the lanes are narrow, so it is always buzzing with people and carts. We have been running Indo Asia Enterprise from this location for quite some time. The office is usually filled with papers and samples of what we trade. It gets quite noisy downstairs with the market crowds, but up here it is a bit quieter so we can focus on our work. We deal with a variety of things depending on what is in demand. Our day usually involves a lot of phone calls to suppliers and checking on where the shipments are. We don't really have a big showroom. Most of our business happens through long-term relationships we have built over the years. People know they can find us here even if the location is a bit tucked away. Sometimes it’s a struggle to get large boxes up and down the stairs, but we’ve found a way to make it work. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations; we just keep the desks organized and the records clear.
