Honest Tawa Fry & Veg Punjabi

Our place, Honest Tawa Fry & Veg Punjabi, is at 13 Gujarat Government Colony. That is in Kagdiwad, which is part of the Ellisbridge area in Ahmedabad, 380006. It’s a bit of a specific spot inside the colony. We mostly handle Tawa fry and Punjabi dishes here. Ellisbridge is a busy part of the city with a lot of history and old buildings. The government colony has its own feel to it, a bit quieter than the main roads but still active. We are just regular people working in the kitchen and serving whoever comes by. We don't use any fancy language to talk about our food. It is what it is. We spend a lot of time around the Tawa, as the name suggests. Kagdiwad is a neighborhood where people know each other. We are just one of the local businesses trying to do things right. The colony is easy enough to find if you are in Ellisbridge. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big corporate office. It’s just the shop at number 13. Every morning we get things ready and start the day. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when it gets hot, but we just keep going. We are happy to be a part of this community in Ahmedabad. It’s a practical place for us to be and we just stick to our routine and work.
