Harikant Engineering Industries

Harikant Engineering Industries is set up at Plot No 483 and 484 on Road No 12. We are in Phase-2 of the Kathwada GIDC Industrial Estate, right by the SP Ring Road. Having two plots gives us a decent amount of room to move things around, which is good because engineering gear takes up a lot of space. The ring road is always humming with traffic, so we never have a moment of true silence. That’s okay, though, because we’re usually making plenty of noise ourselves with the drills and grinders. The shop floor is where we spend ninety percent of our time. It’s got that specific smell of scorched metal and old oil. We aren’t really the type for meetings; we just talk over the machines. Kathwada is a solid place for a business like ours. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so nobody complains about the banging or the sparks. We’ve got a few racks for storage and some heavy benches that have seen better days. It’s a functional space. We don’t try to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just focus on the engineering jobs that come through on Road No 12. Sometimes the dust from the SP Ring Road gets everywhere, but we just wipe off the machines and keep going until the shift ends.
