Our place is over in Vishwanagar Society, right near the Jivraj Over Bridge in Vejalpur. It’s a bit of a tucked-away corner but we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows the spot. We deal with polymers, so there is usually a lot of material moving in and out of the doors. It gets dusty, and the machines make a fair bit of noise, but that’s just how the work goes. We have a small crew that has been around for years. We aren't big on meetings or anything like that; we just show up and get the day started. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps or plastic bits that need sweeping up. The bridge nearby makes the whole building shake a little when the heavy trucks go over, but you stop noticing it after the first week. We keep our supplies stacked against the walls to make room for the workspace. It isn’t the prettiest shop you’ll ever see, but it works for us. We handle the orders as they come in and try to keep the machines running smooth. Lunch is usually eaten together at the back table. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment is behind, but nobody complains much. It is honest work and we stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the families fed. We’ve been here in Vishwanagar for years and plan to stay.
