Being over at 19 Amul Estate is quite a different experience than being in the middle of the city. We are right near the Sarkhej Railway Crossing, so the sound of the trains is something we live with every day. Hamdubhai Mominbhai & Sons has been around for quite a while now. We are tucked away near the Sarkhej Sanand Circle, which is always busy with trucks and travelers heading toward the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway. It’s a dusty place sometimes, especially with all the construction and the traffic around 380055. Our daily work is mostly about managing the stock and talking to the people who stop by the estate. It is a family-run thing, and we have been doing it this way for a long time. There is no fancy office or air conditioning in every corner, just the warehouse and the workspace we have always used. We deal with things as they come up, whether it is a delivery delay or a busy afternoon with too many visitors at once. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We know the other business owners in the estate, and we all just try to get through our lists for the day. It is a practical life, working hard in a spot that’s always loud and moving.
