Grasim Industries Ltd. White Cement Divn.

We are located in Sector 7-D of Gandhinagar, right at Plot No. 1295 1. This is where we manage the white cement division for the local area. It’s a fairly simple office setup, nothing too fancy, just a place for us to coordinate the logistics and keep the business running. Gandhinagar is laid out in a way that makes it easy to get around, which is a big help when we’re trying to move stock. We see a lot of regular customers, mostly local contractors and shopkeepers who need our product for their own stores. The morning usually starts with checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be ordered. We spend a lot of time on the phone and talking to the delivery drivers who come in and out all day. Because we’re dealing with cement, there’s always a bit of dust in the air, but we don’t mind it much. We have a small, hard-working crew here and everyone knows exactly what they need to do. We don’t spend time on long meetings or anything like that; we just focus on getting the orders out the door. It’s a practical way to earn a living and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we’ve become a regular part of the neighborhood’s commercial life.
