Gordhan Thal Restaurant

Our place is located on the ground floor of the Sapath Building. If you know where the Rajpath Club is on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, then you’ve probably seen us right across the street. The SG Highway is always moving fast, so it’s a busy spot to be in. We’ve been here for a bit now, serving people who are passing through or coming from the nearby offices. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in without much fuss. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed even though the road outside is quite loud. It’s a big building, but we’re tucked into our own corner. The staff starts early because there is a lot to do before the doors open. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. The focus is usually on the kitchen and making sure there is enough food for everyone who shows up. Ahmedabad is a city that loves to eat out, so we see all kinds of people here. Some are in a hurry to get back to work, while others take their time. We just provide a place to sit and have a meal. It's practical and straightforward. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a restaurant on the highway doing its job. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still here.
