Goldcoin Ceramics Tiles

If you ever find yourself walking behind Vikram Chambers on Ashram Road, you’ll probably stumble upon us at Embassy Market. We have been here at number 32 for years now, surrounded by other shops and the usual city noise. Our space is filled with stacks of tiles and the smell of cardboard boxes. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept. Customers come in looking for something specific for their floors or walls, and we spend a good chunk of the day moving heavy samples around. My back usually hurts by five o'clock, but that’s part of the trade when you deal with ceramics. The market gets pretty crowded during the middle of the day, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting things loaded onto the trucks. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just a shop where we sell tiles to people who need them. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk with the neighbors, and other days we barely have time to grab lunch. We’ve seen the area change a lot over time, but we are still here doing the same thing. It is a simple business, really. We get the stock in, people buy it, and we send it out. No need to make it more complicated than that.
