Ganpati Granites

We have been here at Gota Char Rasta for quite a while now. If you are driving down S.G. Highway, you'll see us right across from the bus stand. It's easy to find because we're near Gokul Hotel, which everyone knows. We mostly just keep a lot of granite slabs out in the yard. People come by when they are doing up their kitchens or floors. It gets dusty sometimes with all the stone around, but that is just how it is. My brother and I usually handle the loading and showing people what we have in stock. We don't really do fancy brochures. You just walk in, look at the colors, and see what fits. Some pieces have more veins than others. We try to keep a decent variety because everyone wants something different for their house. Sometimes the trucks come in late at night to drop off new blocks. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. If you are in the Gota area, you can just pull over and take a look. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down. Nothing too complicated about it. We just sell stone and try to keep things moving. The highway gets busy, but we've gotten used to the noise over the years. Just a regular spot for granite. We have a small shed where we keep the paperwork, but most of our day is spent outside among the slabs. You can see the different finishes if you walk around the stacks.
