Epicurean Alley Restaurant

Epicurean Alley Restaurant is over at Wall Street I, right across from the Orient Club near Gujarat College. Being in Ellisbridge 380006 means we see a lot of students and people working in the nearby offices. The area is pretty active, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out for lunch. We chose this spot because it’s central, even if parking around here can be a real headache sometimes. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. You can usually find us rearranging the chairs to fit a larger group or cleaning the glass windows that face the street. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby, so wiping things down is a constant job. We don’t go for anything too flashy in terms of the interior; we just want it to be a place where you can sit and eat. The staff here are mostly local guys who know the area well. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a polished way of doing things. We just open up, cook what needs to be cooked, and hope the electricity doesn't cut out during the busy hours. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes we forget to change the specials board, but people usually just ask us what’s fresh anyway.
