Eat Smart The Olive Oil Restaurant

We opened Eat Smart The Olive Oil Restaurant over at the Akash Ganga Complex a while ago. It is right on the road from Inder Residency going towards Chirag Motors, so it gets pretty busy around here. Being near Gujarat College in Ellis Bridge means we see a lot of students and teachers walking by every day. We decided to use olive oil for most of our cooking just because that is how we like to eat at home. It is not a huge place, just a regular spot near the Volkswagen showroom where you can sit down for a bit. Some days the traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on getting the orders out. The kitchen staff has been with us for a bit now. We do not do anything too complicated with the menu. It is mostly stuff we know how to make well. People find us easily because of the landmark. We usually start early to get everything prepped before the lunch rush hits. It is just a local business trying to do things a bit differently with the ingredients. Sometimes the weather in Ahmedabad makes it a bit dusty, but we keep the place as tidy as we can. We are just here every day making food and talking to the regulars who stop in. There is no big story behind it, just a lot of work and some good olive oil in the pans.
