Dubai restaurant in Ahmedabad. We’re right in the middle of everything at Lal Darwaja. The shop number is 1291. It’s a very old part of the city, right near the Bijli Ghar. If you look across the street, you’ll see the Sidisaiyad Masjid with its stone work. The area is always packed with people and rickshaws. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s Ahmedabad for you. Our restaurant is small and simple. We’ve been here serving food for a long time. The walls have seen a lot of years. We don’t have fancy menus with pictures. Just the dishes we know how to make. People come here for a quick bite or a proper meal after shopping in the market nearby. It’s a lot of hard work keeping up with the crowd. The heat from the stoves and the city outside can be a lot. But we’ve got our regulars who have been coming since they were kids. Now they bring their own children. We don’t use any marketing tricks. The food just speaks for itself. It’s not a place for a quiet romantic dinner; it’s a place for eating and moving on. We like being part of the Lal Darwaja history. It feels right to be here. Sometimes we shout a bit to be heard over the traffic, but that's just how we communicate. We don't mind the chaos. It makes us feel like we are right in the heart of things.
