Sahajanand Krupa Cement Depo

Our cement depo is over in Dhole Gaon, near Ahmedabad. We are situated quite close to the HDFC Bank, which makes it easy for people to explain where they are going when they come to see us. Dealing in cement is a heavy and dusty business. We spend our days unloading trucks and stacking bags in the warehouse. It is the kind of work that makes your back ache, but someone has to do it so people can build their homes and shops. The village is growing, so there is always a demand for a few bags here and there. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is just a big space where we keep the stock dry and safe from the weather. If the rain comes, we have to move fast to cover everything up with plastic sheets. Most of our customers are local builders or guys fixing up their own places. We know most of them by name and we usually spend a few minutes catching up when they stop by. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the big city, but we stay busy. The truck drivers who bring the supplies usually have some news from the road to share. We just keep the depo organized and make sure we do not run out of the popular brands. It is honest, physical work and it keeps us occupied all year round.
