There are always people walking by and the smell of bread from the bakery next door is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. We do pre-cast concrete work, so our yard is filled with different molds and heavy pieces that are drying or waiting to be moved. It is heavy, physical work and it can get pretty loud when we are mixing things or moving the blocks around with the machinery. We don't have a polished office; it’s more of a workspace where we handle all the manual labor. People in the neighborhood know us well since we have been in this spot for a long time. We don't bother with fancy business talk or trying to sound more important than we are. We are just a crew that knows how to make solid pre-cast items. Sometimes the space feels a bit small because of all the inventory we have to keep, and the traffic near Delhi Gate can be a headache during the day. We just focus on the task at hand and talk to the customers who stop by. It is a basic business built on hard work and staying put in the community.
