Dakshinayan Restaurant

Our place is at the A-1 Ishwarcharan Complex in the Satellite area. Being right opposite Lotus School means our days are timed by the school bells. In the mornings, it is quiet, but as soon as the school lets out, the whole street gets busy with parents and kids. We have been running Dakshinayan Restaurant here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. The complex itself is pretty standard, and we are on the ground floor so people can just walk in. The kitchen setup is quite traditional. We don't use a lot of modern gadgets, just the usual stoves and big pots. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn out in the spots where we walk the most, but we keep everything scrubbed. It gets dusty outside because of the traffic in Satellite, so we have to wipe the tables down constantly. My brother helps with the morning shopping for vegetables, and we try to get everything from the local market. There is no manager in a suit here, just us in our regular clothes trying to keep the orders moving. Some customers have been coming here since they were students at the school opposite us. It is just a local spot where people come when they don't want to cook at home. We don't do anything special, just the same dishes every day and keeping the stove hot.
