Curries Restaurant & Banquet

You can find Curries Restaurant & Banquet over at Shivalik Plaza on IIM Road. This is the Ambavadi area of Ahmedabad, which is usually quite active. We have the restaurant part and then the banquet space for when people have bigger groups or events. It’s a fairly large space compared to some of the other shops in the plaza. Being on IIM Road means we get a lot of students and office workers coming through throughout the week. We try to keep things tidy, but with the banquet events, it can get a bit chaotic sometimes behind the scenes. That’s just the nature of the business, I guess. We’ve been in Shivalik Plaza for a while and seen many neighbors come and go. The parking outside can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t use any fancy systems, just our hands and some hard work to keep the place going. It’s a family-run sort of feel even when it’s busy. We like being in Ambavadi because it’s central and everyone knows where the plaza is. If you’re around IIM Road, you’ve probably walked past our windows at some point. We’re just here doing our job and making sure the food is ready when people sit down. We don't worry too much about being the biggest or loudest place around.
