Corner Cafe

Our cafe is at shop number 11 in Narayan Chamber. We are right at the corner of Nehru Bridge in Ahmedabad. If you look across the street, you can see the big Patang Restaurant. We are much smaller than that, just a local corner spot. The traffic on the bridge is constant, so there is always a lot of noise and a bit of dust. We have some plastic chairs for people to sit on. It is not a fancy lounge. It’s just a place to get a tea or a quick snack. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. We don't have any polished marketing materials. Most people just know us because they pass by every day on their way to work. The kitchen is tiny, and it gets very hot when the stove is going. We keep the door open to let some air in, even if the city sounds come in too. It is a humble place. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working the counter and the stove. Sometimes we run out of things if the morning was busier than we expected. We just do our best to serve the people who stop by the bridge corner. It is a simple life here at the Chamber, watching the cars go by while we make tea for the regulars.
