City Corner Restaurant

Our place is called City Corner Restaurant and we are over in the Ambavadi area of Ahmedabad. We are located in the Asthan Complex, which is right opposite the Polytechnic College. It’s a good location because there’s always something happening outside on the street. We spend most of our days here, from early morning until the lights finally go out at night. We don't have a fancy story about how we started this place. We just liked cooking and decided to open a shop to see if it would work. The space inside is practical and simple. We have tables that are easy to wipe down and chairs that don't wobble too much when you sit. We get a lot of people from the college and the various offices nearby. It gets quite crowded around 1 PM every day. We try to get the food out fast, but sometimes there's a bit of a wait when the kitchen is full. People usually don't mind too much because they can talk while they wait. We don't use any pre-made stuff, we make everything right here in the kitchen. It smells like spices and hot oil most of the time. We aren't trying to be a gourmet place. Just a corner restaurant where you can get a decent meal for a fair price.
