City Corner Restaurant

You can find us on the first floor of the Aasthan Complex. We are in Panjrapole, right across from the Polytechnic College in Ahmedabad. Since we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students coming in between their classes. They’re usually in a hurry and checking their phones. We have two units, 101 and 102, so there is a decent amount of room for everyone to sit. It’s not a quiet place, especially during the lunch hours. There is always the sound of plates clinking and people talking over each other. We started City Corner because we wanted to have our own business. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep for some people, but it’s good exercise. We’ve been at this 380015 location for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to close and do it. We handle the cooking and the cleaning ourselves mostly. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone telling us what to do. It's just the restaurant. The kitchen is tucked away in the back area. We use a lot of local ingredients from the nearby markets. It’s basic food that tastes like what you'd get at home. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but they keep the place cool enough for the afternoon heat. It is a regular part of the neighborhood.
