Chawlas Village Restaurant Chawla S Village Rest

Chawlas Village Restaurant, or Chawla S Village Rest as some call it, is located at 38 Advait Mall on the ground floor. We are in the Bodakdev area of Ahmedabad, right near Sandesh Press and opposite Soham Tower. Being in a mall means we have a specific kind of routine. We arrive before the mall gets busy to start our prep. The space has a bit of a village theme to it, but at the end of the day, it’s just a restaurant. We have tables, chairs, and a kitchen that works hard. The area around Bodakdev is quite developed, so we get a mix of families and office people. We don't have a corporate office or a PR team. It’s just us, the owners and the staff, handling the day-to-day chores. We spend a lot of time making sure the supplies are fresh and the kitchen is clean. The mall environment is a bit different from a street-side shop, but the work is basically the same. We deal with the air conditioning, the mall security, and the flow of shoppers coming through the doors. It’s a lot of standing and moving around for us. We don't make big promises about our food; we just cook it and serve it to anyone who is hungry. It’s a straightforward business. We open when the mall opens and we close when the lights go down, ready to do it again tomorrow.
