Cellad Eatery

You can find Cellad Eatery way up on the top floor of City Square on University Road. We’re over in Ahmedabad, specifically the 380009 area, right near the Passport Office and Janvi Restaurant. Running a place on the top floor means a lot of trips up and down, but it’s where we are. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or out front near the tables. It’s a busy street outside, especially with the university and the government offices nearby. Our days are spent getting the food out and keeping the place clean. It’s not a huge fancy operation, just a team of us working through the lunch and dinner rushes. Sometimes the elevator is slow, but that’s just life in a commercial building. We’ve seen a lot of students and people from the offices come through our doors over the years. No big corporate plan here, we just come in, prep the ingredients, and serve what’s on the menu. The location is pretty easy to find once you get to City Square. We like being in this part of Ahmedabad because there’s always something happening on University Road. It gets pretty loud during peak hours, but we’re used to it by now. The goal is to keep things simple so everyone who comes up to the top floor finds what they’re looking for. It’s a lot of hard work every day.
