Capricorn Restaurant

We are tucked away in the Nutan Mill Compound over in Saraspur. It’s an old industrial part of Ahmedabad, and you can feel that history when you walk around the area. Capricorn Restaurant is near the City Gold Cinema, so we get some people coming in before or after a movie. The building we are in, Pushp Deep on Anil Starch Mill Road, isn't fancy at all. It’s a practical place for people to come and have a meal. We serve mostly local dishes that people around here like to eat every day. During the lunch hour, it gets very crowded with workers from the nearby businesses and shops. The fans are always spinning, and the kitchen is always shouting out orders. We don’t use those fancy white tablecloths or have servers in uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes bringing out plates of food. Sometimes the mill compound is a bit dusty, but that’s just how Saraspur is. We’ve known some of our customers for years, and they usually order the same thing every time they sit down. It’s a simple life running a restaurant here. We just focus on making sure the food tastes right and the bill is correct. There’s no big corporate strategy, just daily work in a busy part of the city. We keep the water jugs filled and the plates moving as fast as we can. It’s just how we operate.
