Bricks Restaurant

We are situated inside the Grand Bhagwati Hotel right on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway in Ahmedabad. The location is quite easy to find since we are right opposite the Gurudwara and near the Rajpath Club. If you’ve ever driven down the Thaltej Satellite Highway, you’ve probably passed by us many times. The traffic on the highway is constant, day and night. We have been here for a good while now, seeing the city grow around this particular corner. It’s a busy spot, especially on weekends when people are out driving. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby areas like Thaltej or Vastrapur. We spend our shifts moving between the kitchen and the dining area, making sure the tables are set and the floors are swept. It’s not always perfect, sometimes the rush gets ahead of us, but we catch up. We don’t really go in for big speeches about what we do here. It’s just a restaurant in a big hotel on a very busy road. We see a lot of people who are just stopping for a break while traveling between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The hum of the highway is just part of the background noise for us now. We open the doors, do the work, and then head home to do it all again tomorrow. It is just life on the highway.
