Borad Engineering

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 5 in the Nutan Shardanagar Society. This is in the Ambera Nagar area of Odhav. We are pretty close to the Apa Hotel and right across from where Ghanshyam Fornerby is situated. Odhav is a busy industrial part of the city, so there is always something going on nearby. Our shop is one of many in this society. We do engineering tasks, mostly focusing on metalwork and parts. The plot is not huge, so we have to be organized with how we store our materials and where we put the machines. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of metal delivered at once. The walls are painted a dull color and have posters of machine parts pinned up here and there. We have a small desk in the corner for the ledger and some pens, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. The air smells like burnt metal and lubricant. We do not have a fancy reception area; people just walk in through the main shutter. We have been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the street. We often share a tea with the guys from the next plot over. It is a simple life of hard work and making sure the parts we make are what they are supposed to be. No frills, just engineering work that we handle day after day.
