Binani Cement

I work here under the name of Haji Mohd. Yakub’s son, and we are located at B-56 in Binani Gram, Pindwara. This is a very local operation for Binani Cement. Being in Binani Gram means the company is pretty much our whole life. The address is simple because everyone around here knows where B-56 is. We are right in the heart of the Rajasthan belt where the work is constant. The dust is a part of everything—your clothes, your hair, even the tea sometimes. My father’s name is on the records because that’s how we do things in this part of Pindwara. It’s about family and hard work. The office is just a room with a couple of tables and a lot of logbooks. I spend my time checking the bags as they come through or talking to the workers about the schedule. It’s hot and the sun is bright, but we have a good rhythm. We don't use big words or fancy slogans. We just know how much cement is in the warehouse and where it needs to go next. It’s a very practical life. We see the same faces every day and we all know what needs to be done. It’s just honest work in a place that’s been doing this for years. We just try to get everything loaded and sent off before the sun goes down.
