We are running things from B 4 in the Shikhar Apartment, which is situated right near Hariom Nagar. It’s a bit of a different setup compared to a big warehouse, as we are located inside an apartment building. Jatin Agrawal is the one who keeps everything organized here. Being in this part of town makes it fairly easy for people to find us when they need to talk about cement supplies. We don't have big trucks pulling right up to the door since it is a residential area, so most of our work is the administrative side of Binani Cement. We spend a lot of time on the phone and working on the computer to make sure the logistics are handled properly. It is a quiet place to work, which helps when we have to go through all the delivery receipts and order forms. Sometimes the neighbors in the building ask us how the cement business is going, and we just tell them it’s steady. The office is small but it has everything we need to keep the business moving. We usually start the day with a cup of tea and a look at the schedule. It is a very practical way for us to operate without having to deal with the noise of a heavy industrial site. We have been here for a while now and the location works well for getting across the city quickly when we need to visit a site. It’s just a regular office setup.
