Binani Cement Limited

Binani Cement Limited is out here in Binanigram, and my office is tucked away in Qtr No. B/204. If you know this area in Sirohi district, you know it’s mostly about the plant and the people who live and work right next to it. Being in a colony means the lines between work and home get a bit blurry. I walk over to the desk in the morning and start going through the manifest. It’s quiet in the early hours before the heavy machinery really starts humming in the distance. We’ve got the Rajasthan heat to deal with most of the year, so we keep the fans going and try to stay productive. There isn't much to say about the building itself; it's a standard quarter that we've turned into our workspace for the company. We deal with a lot of coordination from this room. People drop by with questions or forms that need signing. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s a practical setup for the cement business. We don't have a big shiny lobby or anything. Just some chairs, a couple of desks, and a lot of files that need tending to. It feels like a small community here in Binanigram, and we’re just one part of the bigger operation. We do what we’re supposed to do and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or trouble.
