Bhagyoday Restaurant

Our restaurant is on Relief Road in Ahmedabad, right opposite the Kingsway Guest House. This is one of the oldest and busiest parts of the city. We are very close to the GPO and the Relief Cinema, so there are always people walking past the front door. It is a very lively neighborhood with a lot of history. On the weekends when there is a big movie playing at the cinema, we get a lot of families and groups of friends coming in. During the week, it is mostly people working at the post office or the nearby banks. The building we are in has that old Ahmedabad feel to it. It’s not a modern glass building. We have been serving food here for many years. The noise from the traffic on Relief Road is something you just get used to after a while. Sometimes the sidewalk is so crowded you can barely see our entrance, but the regulars know where we are. We have simple tables and the service is fast because most people are in a hurry to get back to work or catch a bus. We don't do anything fancy with the decor. It is just a place to eat some honest food and watch the world go by through the window. It's a real part of the city life here and we like being right in the middle of it.
