Bhagwati Restaurant Vatva

We are located up on the first floor of Diubhai Estate in Vatva Gidc. Being right near the Hanumanji Temple means we hear the bells and see the crowds on Saturdays especially. It gets pretty busy around here because of all the factories and units in the GIDC area. People from the estates come in when they get their break time. The place isn't fancy or anything like that. We have some tables and chairs and we try to keep the fans running fast because it gets hot in the afternoons. Trikampura Palia is a noisy part of town with trucks moving in and out all day long, so being on the first floor helps us get a little bit of a breeze. Most of the folks who come here are workers or people doing business in the industrial zone. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. Sometimes the traffic outside near the temple gets backed up, but that is just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. We open up early to get things ready for the lunch rush. It is a simple setup where you can sit down and have a meal without too much fuss. We don’t have a big sign but once you find Diubhai Estate you just head upstairs. It is just a regular local spot for regular people.
