Axis Engineering

Axis Engineering is out at plot no 324, road no. 5, kathwada gidc. If you’ve ever been to the GIDC, you know it’s mostly just industrial sheds and trucks everywhere. Our plot is tucked away on road no. 5. It’s dusty work out here, especially in the dry months. We’ve got a big gate and the Axis Engineering name is painted on it. Inside, it’s mostly just the sounds of work being done. It isn't the prettiest part of town, but it’s exactly where we need to be. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy in the afternoon. Most of us have been coming to this same spot for years. There’s a small canteen nearby that makes okay food, so that’s where we usually end up. The roads in Kathwada can be pretty rough with all the heavy loads passing through. We’ve got some storage space in the back of plot 324 and the front is where the main office sits. It’s a very practical setup. No one wears suits around here, it’s all very casual and focused on the job. Axis Engineering is just a local fixture in this industrial zone. Sometimes the power flickers but we just get on with it. It’s a solid place to work even if it’s a bit out of the way for most people who live in the city center. We just stay here and get through the day. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish.
