Automation Axay Ele & Engg Works

Our shop is called Automation Axay Ele & Engg Works. You can find us at D/1 in the Axay Co-Op Housing Society, which is right across from the Raghuvir Industrial Estate in Odhav. It is a bit of an unusual spot since we are tucked into a housing society area, but it works out well for us. We handle a lot of electrical and engineering tasks. It is mostly us tinkering with control panels and wiring most of the day. There is always a bit of dust and a few loose wires laying around the benches, but we know where every single thing is kept. We started out small and we have stayed pretty grounded over the years. We do not go for big flashy signs or expensive offices. We would much rather spend that money on better tools or just keeping the lights on. Working in Odhav means we see a lot of other industrial folks every day. We often help out our neighbors or get help from them when something tricky comes up. It has a real community feel to it. Our days are filled with the sound of drills and the smell of solder. We do not have a big corporate hierarchy here. If something needs doing, the nearest person just grabs a wrench and gets to work. We have had the same regulars coming in for years. They know we are just regular people who know our way around a panel. It is not fancy, but it is our living.
