Autograph Restaurant

We are based in the Armoise Hotel, which is right behind the Navrangpura Bus Stand. If you know where the Idea Customer Care or Nirman Bhavan is, we’re just opposite there, off C G Road. It’s a busy corner of Ahmedabad. Working in a hotel restaurant means we see all kinds of people. Some are just passing through the bus stand and need a bite, others are staying upstairs. The kitchen stays pretty active from breakfast until late. We spend our shifts balancing the room service orders with the people sitting in the dining room. It gets a bit hectic when the bus schedules line up and a lot of people walk in at once. We don't have a lot of frills here. We just try to keep the salt shakers full and the water cold. The staff knows the area well, so we often end up giving directions while we're serving food. It’s a lot of standing and moving around. We try to keep the place looking decent, but it’s a working restaurant, so there’s always a bit of noise from the kitchen. We focus on the basics. Making sure the orders are right and the food is hot is mostly what we worry about. It’s just a regular local spot where we put in our hours and try to keep things organized. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just running a restaurant in Navrangpura.
