Austria Spice Restaurant

Austria Spice is located on the ground floor of Shivani Avenue, shops 2 and 3. We are right at Jawahar Chowk in the Maninagar area of Ahmedabad. It’s a very busy intersection with lots of rickshaws and people moving about. We chose this spot because there is always something happening outside. Inside, it’s just a regular restaurant where we try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us, the owners, and a couple of helpers in the back. The kitchen gets really busy during the dinner hours when the Maninagar crowd comes out. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure we have enough fresh stock for the next day. The name might sound a bit different, but we are just a local spot serving the flavors people around here like. We don't bother with fancy plating or expensive decorations. We’d rather spend that money on better quality ingredients. Sometimes the noise from Jawahar Chowk comes inside, but that’s just part of the experience of being in the heart of the city. We’ve been here for a while and most of the shopkeepers nearby know us. We are just a plain, honest business trying to do a good job every day. No bells or whistles, just food and a place to sit for a while.
