Ashok Electricals

The shop is located at 35, Satadhar Estate, which is part of that first section near the National Highway. If you know Nikol Village Road, you know it can get pretty hectic with all the trucks and people moving around, especially being so close to Thakkar Bapanagar. Ashok Electricals has been tucked in here for a while. It’s not a huge space, but it fits everything we need to get through the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven’t really found the time to stop and do it. Usually, the morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and checking what arrived yesterday. You can hear the highway noise from inside, which just becomes background noise after an hour or two. Working out of Satadhar Estate means we see a lot of the same faces from the neighboring units. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the block, just the one that stays open when people expect. There’s a lot of inventory stacked up, sometimes a bit too high, but we know where everything is. It feels like a real workplace, not a showroom. We deal with the heat in the summer and the rain during monsoon just like everyone else on Nikol Village Road. It’s a straightforward life here. We just keep the lights on and handle the tasks as they come through the door. It stays busy enough for us here.
