Our shop, Arbuda Decorators & Hirers, is at the Rameshwar Shopping Centre on Satellite Road. We are pretty close to the Saibaba Mandir, so it’s easy for people to find us when they need stuff for an event. We also go by Arbuda Mandap Service. We deal with mandaps and hiring out all the things you need for a party or a wedding. We’ve been doing this for years in the Satellite area. It’s hard work, mostly lifting heavy poles and moving chairs around in the heat. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a place where we store all our gear and talk to people about what they need for their functions. Sometimes we are out all night setting things up and then back early the next day to take them down. It gets really busy during the wedding season, and things can get a bit messy with all the bookings. We just try to keep track of everything on our lists. We aren't some big event planning firm with people in suits. We are the ones who actually do the heavy lifting and the decorating. We know the local grounds and halls around here quite well. If a customer needs extra tables at the last minute, we try to sort it out. It’s a practical business. We just provide what’s needed to make an event happen for the local families here in Ahmedabad.
