Our shop is tucked away in the Hariom Shopping Centre over in Mahenatpura. If you know the Ambawadi area at all, you know it can get pretty cramped with all the people and scooters. We are at number 8, so we aren't the biggest spot in the complex, but we make it work. Most of the time, it's just us handling whatever comes through the door. The pincode is 380015, in case someone is trying to mail us something. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but the regulars seem to find their way back okay. The shelves are usually full, though sometimes we run out of things faster than we can restock them. Dealing with the heat in Ahmedabad is always a struggle, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the center. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors from the other shops while waiting for customers. It isn't some high-end mall or anything like that. It’s just a basic place where people come to get what they need. We’ve had some good years here, even if the floor tiles are starting to look a bit worn out. You just get used to the rhythm of the place. It's just a small business trying to stay steady in a busy neighborhood. We often have to rearrange things to make space for new stock, and it can get a bit cluttered. But people don't seem to mind much as long as we have what they are looking for. We keep the fans running all day to deal with the stuffiness.
