Ambuja Cement Ltd

This branch of Ambuja Cement operates out of Viswamitri Society, specifically over at Z 302 here in Ahmedabad. It’s more of a residential setup for the administrative side of things, so it’s usually pretty quiet compared to the big plants. We spend a lot of our time looking at schedules and making sure the Gujarat deliveries are on track. Being in the 382481 area, we are close enough to the main action but far enough to actually get some paperwork done without too much noise. We’ve been around for a bit, helping manage how the cement gets distributed to different sites. It’s not flashy work, mostly just checking numbers and talking to drivers on the phone. Sometimes the heat in Ahmedabad gets to be a lot, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We don’t really go for fancy setups. It’s a functional space. People know where to find us if there’s a snag with an order. We’ve seen this part of the city grow a lot, and it’s interesting to think that our cement is in a lot of those new buildings. We just focus on getting the job done right today so we don't have headaches tomorrow. It's a steady life. Nothing too complicated about it, just moving product from point A to point B and making sure the records are straight and everything is accounted for.
