Our spot is Shop No.1/A over in the Cotni Range area. If you know where the Premdarwaja Police Chowky is, then you’ve probably walked right past us at some point. Being near Prem Darwaja means there is always something going on outside. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s usually a bit of dust because of the road work nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We’ve been at this location for a while now and the locals know us. It’s a simple setup with shelves full of tea and some old weighing scales that still work fine. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that. Usually, the morning starts with unlocking the shutters and checking what arrived the day before. The police chowky being so close makes the area feel safe, even when we stay late to finish inventory. Some days are slower than others, but we usually have someone popping in for a chat or to pick up their regular order. It gets loud with the traffic coming through the gate, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just focus on keeping the bins full and the shop open on time. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here in this part of town.
