Ambica Marble & Granite (Gota Road)

If you're driving down the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, you’ll find us right across from the Silver Oak Club. Ambica Marble & Granite has been sitting on Gota Road for a long time, and we've seen the whole area change around us. The highway gets pretty loud with the traffic, but inside the yard, it’s mostly just the sound of stone being moved around by the crane. We have stacks of granite and marble everywhere you look. It’s heavy work, moving these slabs, and my guys are usually busy from early morning until the sun goes down. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we sit down with customers to talk about what they need for their floors or kitchen counters. People come in from all over the city because Gota Road is easy to find. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the paperwork when it’s busy, but the stone is always ready for pickup. We try to keep a variety of colors, though some weeks certain types of granite go faster than others. It's a lot of physical labor, and the sun can be brutal out here by the highway, but we’re used to it. We don’t try to be anything we’re not, just a local spot where you can get decent stone for your home without a lot of talking. We just focus on the inventory we have right here on the lot today.
