Ambica Building Material Suppliers is located in Khokhra, right near Nandishwar Society. If you are looking for us, we are also very close to the SBI branch there, which makes it easier to explain where we are to people who aren’t from around here. Being in Khokhra means we are right in the middle of a lot of residential activity. People are always fixing things or adding a room to their house, so we see a lot of that. We aren't a massive warehouse, just a local supplier trying to keep things moving. The yard can get a bit cluttered with sand or bricks depending on what came in that morning, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical business. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a fancy website because we spend most of our time actually moving materials around. The sun gets pretty hot out here during the afternoons, so we usually take a bit of a break when it’s at its peak. Our neighbors over at Nandishwar Society are good people, and we try not to make too much noise too early in the morning. It is a lot of hard work, loading and unloading, but it’s what we do. We’ve been here long enough that most of the regulars just call us by name. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town and we hope to stay here for a while.
