We operate out of Ankur Flat, right on Gheekanta Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a busy area, especially near the Panjara Pole. Our office is in A-15, which is easy to find once you get inside the building. It’s a modest space, nothing like those big corporate centers you see on the outskirts of town. We’ve been working on air control systems from here for several years. The walls are covered with old charts and some calendars from previous years that we never bothered to take down. We have a couple of old desks and some tall filing cabinets that groan when you open them. Most of our work involves going out to sites, but this flat is where we plan everything and handle the accounts. Ahmedabad is always buzzing, and the noise from the street below usually makes its way up to us. We’ve gotten used to it by now. We aren't big on decorations or fancy rugs. It’s a place for work, pure and simple. We usually have a pot of water and some glasses ready for anyone who drops by. It feels more like a home than a business, which suits us just fine. We know the neighbors and the local shops well. Sometimes the tea seller from downstairs brings us a round of chai without us even asking. It’s a nice way to spend the day while we get our projects sorted out.
