Ahmedabad Catering Llp runs out of the 4th floor at Shivalik Corporate Park. Our unit is E 410, right on the 132 Feet Ring Road in the Satellite area near Jodhpur. Being on the fourth floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the service lift, especially when we are trying to move large food containers down for an event. The Ring Road is always loud with traffic, so you can always hear the horns and engines from our office. We do a lot of planning here, figuring out menus and counting plates and cutlery. It is not all cooking; there is a massive amount of logistics involved in getting food from our kitchen to where it needs to be. The office is often messy with stacks of napkins and sample containers everywhere. We are a busy group and someone is always on the phone arguing with a supplier about vegetable prices or delivery times. It is a high-pressure job because people get very upset if their food is late or cold. We try our best to keep everything moving smoothly, but sometimes things go wrong and we just have to fix it on the fly. It is just us working hard in a small space to make sure the catering jobs get done. There is nothing fancy about our back office, just a lot of hard work.
