Agrawal Cement Fabricating Industries

Our place, Agrawal Cement Fabricating Industries, is at 10/A in Nandigram Society 1. We are right near the Sanghavi Highschool railway crossing in Naranpura. You can hear the trains passing by all day long, and the gates at the crossing mean traffic is always backed up outside. It’s a bit of a landmark for us. We work with cement fabrication, so things can get quite dusty around here. We try to keep it clean, but with cement, it is almost impossible. The workshop is right there in the society area, so we know all the neighbors pretty well. Some of them have been here as long as we have. We make various items out of cement and it takes a lot of heavy lifting. My back usually aches by Friday. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people just see the sign when they are stuck at the railway crossing and come in to see what we do. The Agrawal name is on the front, and we’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. It’s a local operation, nothing too fancy. We have a small office space where we keep the ledger and some old chairs for visitors. It’s just a normal business doing its thing in Naranpura, dealing with the dust and the train whistles every hour.
