Our place is located at Plot No. 732/P in Rakanpur, which is part of the Kalol area. Agarwal Beverages (P) Ltd. is mostly about water and bottles. You can hear the clinking of glass or plastic all day long. It’s a rhythmic sound that you get used to after a week or two. We have a small office up front, but mostly everyone is in the back near the tanks and the filling lines. The floor is almost always wet in some spots, so we wear rubber boots. It stays relatively cool inside because of all the water moving around, which is nice during the summer months in Kalol. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery drivers. We keep things pretty simple. There aren't any big posters about innovation on the walls, just a calendar and some safety rules we have to follow. Sometimes the labels don't stick right and we have to stop everything to fix the glue machine. It’s frustrating but it's part of the routine. We’ve been here for a good while now and know most of the people at the other plots nearby. We just focus on getting the bottles filled and loaded onto the trucks so they can get where they need to go. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just keep our heads down and work.
