We don't have fancy signs or big glass windows. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to this part of Ratan Por for generations. We open early in the morning just as the market is waking up. It can be quite loud with the shouting of vendors and the bells of the temple nearby, but we like the energy. We handle things the old-fashioned way, mostly writing things down in ledgers and talking face-to-face. It’s a family-oriented place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We just try to do our work properly and keep the heritage of the shop going as long as we can.
