You’ll find our workshop inside Akashar Arcade, in shops 331 and 332. We’re located near Vijay Cross Road in the Memnagar area of Ahmedabad. It’s a busy commercial building, so there is always a lot of movement around us. Our space isn't a showroom; it’s where we actually do the work. You’ll hear the hum of sewing machines as soon as you walk in. There are rolls of heavy cloth, different colored threads, and boxes of zippers everywhere. We make school bags because they are something every kid needs. We don't use thin materials that will rip in a month. We pick sturdy stuff that can survive being dragged across a playground or stuffed into a locker. It’s a small operation with just a few of us. We spend our days cutting fabric and stitching everything together. It’s not the cleanest work, and our hands get pretty tired by the time we close up. We don't have any fancy ads or a marketing team. Most of our customers are locals who know we make bags that last. If you come by, you’ll likely see us right in the middle of a pile of half-finished bags. We just focus on making a good product that does what it’s supposed to do. It’s honest, simple work and we’ve been at it for a long time now in this same spot.
